MAE’s Chassis Dynamometers reproduce precision road conditions under the most demanding environmental conditions for your R&D testing.
There are many different type of Research and Development criteria for Chassis Dynamometers and related components. Much of these criteria are covered by the testing environments such as NVH, EMC/RFI, Emission Laboratories, Environmental type applications. Still there are other testing uses such as hybrid vehicle development, vehicle calibration and tuning, powertrain development, exhaust validation, fuel consumption, on-road track simulation, off-road course simulation, durability testing and just general road load applications. These chassis dynamometers are developed with single roll, 2×2,4×4,6×6, 8×8 and 10×10 applications. Over the past 35-years Mustang has engineered and manufactured many research and development chassis dynamometers for many different laboratory testing environments.
MAE’s Research & Development Chassis Dynamometers are precision designed systems with reliability to perform precise testing and hold calibration within various testing environments. MAE is a world class Chassis Dynamometers design and manufacturer and our equipment exceeds the perform requirements under these demanding conditions while having the durability to last for many years with in the testing environment. Mustang supplies many standard and custom designed R&D Chassis Dynamometer products.
The Chassis Dynamometer is typically one of several items that are part of an R&D laboratory. Depending on the laboratory requirements the Chassis Dynamometer and the other testing equipment are tied together to allow a single point of control for the R$D testing laboratory. MAE can assist with the supply and integration of equipment from other vendors with powerful TESTCell® software platform.
For these laboratory environments we supply and integrate many different types of equipment:
- Chassis Dynamometers
- Emission analyzers and collection systems
- Fuel monitoring and conditioning systems
- Battery simulator, battery chargers, battery management systems
- Test cell interface, wind, cool, solar heat, rain, snow, fire suppression, and facility monitoring systems
- Vehicle CAN/data interface monitoring and control, tire air pressure monitoring system,
- Vehicle operator control systems, pedal actuators, gearshift actuator, steer actuators, robot drivers, ignition actuators, dash board actuators, in-cell drivers trace
- Test cell operator Interfaces, control consoles, complete system data display and monitoring, remote hand pendents,
